Regulation concerning the authorization that a qualified driver must obtain to offer remunerated passenger transportation by automobile from certain places

Act respecting remunerated passenger transportation by automobile

(chapter T-11.2, s. 61.1).

1. For the purposes of section 61.1 of the Act respecting remunerated passenger transportation by automobile (chapter T-11.2), the Montréal-Trudeau International Airport is a determined place of which Aéroports de Montréal is in charge.

2. An authorization issued by the person in charge of a determined place must contain the following information:

1°  its unique sequential number attributed by the person in charge of the place;

2°  the designation of the place covered by the authorization;

3°  the name of the person in charge of the place;

4°  the name of the driver or the designation of the group of drivers to which the driver belongs, except in the case of an authorization with a validity period of under 1 day;

5°  its date of issue and, in the case of an authorization with a validity period of under 1 day, its time of issue;

6°  its validity period; and

7°  a statement of the applicable conditions, if any.

An authorization that applies to a group of drivers of the same qualified automobile must also contain the registration plate number of the vehicle.
