Regulation respecting government contracts for the leasing of immovable property
Act respecting contracting by public bodies
(chapter C-65.1, s. 23).
1. This Regulation applies to contracts for leasing immovables of the departments and bodies whose operating budget is voted wholly or in part by the National Assembly, by which the right of occupancy of immovables is acquired for a certain amount of time for rent.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, it does not apply to occupancy agreements concluded with the Société québécoise des infrastructures.

10. No contract for leasing an immovable may be entered into without the consent of the Conseil du trésor where the total cost of leasing is $10,000 or more or where premises are to be used as a dwelling for a public servant or government employee.
