Regulation of the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec respecting deposits by certain public bodies or their pension funds and the conditions of such deposits
Act respecting the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec
(chapter C-2, ss. 20.1 and 23).
1. The Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec may receive on deposit any sum of money from a public body within the meaning of section 20.2 of the Act respecting the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (chapter C-2), from a municipal body within the meaning of section 20.3 of that Act, from a school body within the meaning of section 20.4 of that Act, from a health and social service establishment within the meaning of section 20.5 of that Act or from a pension fund of such bodies.

2. A body referred to in section 1 or the pension fund of such a body may make deposits with the Fund under the following conditions:
a)  the body or pension fund identifies the sums to be deposited as well as the frequency and conditions of deposits;
b)  the body or pension fund notifies the Fund of its needs concerning deposits to be made or obligations to be met;
c)  the body or pension fund makes such deposits, as provided for by legislative or administrative provisions applicable to it;
i.  where the administration is under the responsibility of a board of directors, a resolution by such a board or by a committee appointed by such a board shall be filed regarding deposits with the Fund;
ii.  where the administration is under another authority, an official attestation of the decision to make a deposit with the Fund shall be filed; and
d)  the board of directors of the Fund shall confirm, by way of a resolution, its acceptance of the body or pension fund as a depositor.
