Regulation respecting the tariff of duties, fees and costs made under the Act respecting the acquisition of farm land by non-residents
Act respecting the acquisition of farm land by non-residents.

The duties prescribed in the Regulation have been indexed as of 1 January 2016 pursuant to the notice published in Part 1 (French) of the Gazette officielle du Québec of 14 November 2015, page 1145. (ss. 1, 2)
1. Duties of $287 shall be paid by any person submitting an application to the Commission de protection du territoire agricole du Québec for the costs of opening a record under section 12 of the Act.

2. Costs of $75 shall be paid by any person submitting an application to the commission for a certificate under section 16.1 of the Act.

2.1. The duties and costs prescribed by this Regulation shall be indexed on 1 January of each year on the basis of the rate of increase in the general Consumer Price Index for Canada for the 12-month period ending on 30 September of the preceding year, as determined by Statistics Canada.
Duties and costs indexed in the prescribed manner shall be reduced to the nearest dollar where they contain a fraction of a dollar less than $0.50; they shall be increased to the nearest dollar where they contain a fraction of a dollar equal to or greater than $0.50.
The president of the Commission de protection du territoire agricole du Québec shall inform the public, through Part 1 of the Gazette officielle du Québec and, where he considers it appropriate, by any other means, of the indexation calculated under this section.

3. This Regulation replaces the Tariff of duties, fees and costs payable for applications to the Commission de protection du territoire agricole du Québec (R.R.Q., 1981, c. A-4.1, r. 3).
