235. From the day the payment of the pension of a judge ceases by reason of death or, where no pension is payable to him, from the day of the death of a judge in office, a life pension equal to 50% of the pension the judge was receiving or would have received if he had retired with a pension at the time of his death is granted to his spouse.

235. 235. The total amount of the pensions granted to children under section 234 shall not, in the case of the first paragraph of that section, exceed four-fifths of the pension granted to the spouse and, in the case of the second paragraph, eight-fifths of that pension. If there are more than four children entitled to a pension, the total amount of the pensions is divided among them in equal shares.
