R-9.2 - Act respecting the Pension Plan of Peace Officers in Correctional Services

139.4. The pension committee is composed of a chair and 12 other members appointed by the Government for a term of up to three years, as follows:
(1)  six members representing the employees and pensioners, including
(a)  three from the Syndicat des agents de la paix en services correctionnels du Québec, appointed after consultation with the Syndicat;
(b)  one person referred to in paragraph 3 of section 1, appointed after consultation with the associations and groups representing those employees;
(b.1)  one person referred to in paragraph 4 of section 1, appointed after consultation with the unions representing those employees; and
(c)  one pensioner under the Pension Plan of Peace Officers in Correctional Services, appointed after consultation with the unions, associations and groups representing the employees under the plan; and
(2)  six members representing the Government.
The chair of the committee is appointed by the Government, for a term not exceeding three years, after consultation with the committee members. The chair of the committee must be independent and sections 4 to 7 and 9 to 11 of the Act respecting the governance of state-owned enterprises (chapter G-1.02) and section 12 of the Act respecting Retraite Québec (chapter R-26.3) apply to the chair, with the necessary modifications.
