13. The Chairman of the Council shall direct its activities; he shall prepare the agenda of the sittings of the Council and call and preside over them; he shall coordinate the work of the Council and ensure its continuity, see that the files are prepared, and give the members of the Council information relating to the questions to be studied. He shall also ensure cooperation between the Council and the Ministère de l’Environnement.
The Government shall fix the fees, allowances or salary of the chairman, who must devote his full time to the work of the Council and the duties of his office.
