55. A certificate is valid for the five-year term. The Minister shall renew the certificate for the same term provided its holder(1) has successfully completed the examination, if any, required pursuant to paragraph 4 of section 61;
(2) has paid the fees fixed by regulation;
(3) has complied with this Act and the regulations during the term which is ending.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Minister may issue or renew a certificate for a shorter term if he considers it advisable.
