171. Every person who contravenes
(1)  in respect of animals other than big game, any provision of a regulation made under subparagraph 4 of section 56, or
(2)  any provision of section 12, the third or fifth paragraph of section 13.1, section 13.1.0.1, the second paragraph of section 13.2, section 22, 23.1, 30.4, 33, 36, 36.1, 40 or 61, the second paragraph of section 70.1, section 78.5, 88, 96, 105, 112 or 123, the first paragraph of section 175 or of a regulation for which no penalty is specifically provided;
is guilty of an offence and is liable to a fine of not less than $500 nor more than $1,500 for the first offence, and, for any subsequent offence within five years of conviction for an offence under the same provision, to a fine of not less than $1,500 nor more than $4,500.

171. Every person who contravenes
(1)  in respect of animals other than big game, any provision of a regulation made under subparagraph 4 of section 56, or
(2)  any provision of section 12, the second or fourth paragraph of section 13.1, the second paragraph of section 13.2, section 22, 33, 36, 36.1, 40, 61, 78.5, 96, 105, 112 or 123, the second paragraph of section 70.1, the first paragraph of section 175 or of a regulation for which no penalty is specifically provided,
is guilty of an offence and is liable to a fine of not less than $250 nor more than $750 for the first offence, and, for any subsequent offence within three years of conviction for an offence under the same provision, to a fine of not less than $750 nor more than $2,200.

171. Every person who contravenes a provision of paragraph 2 of section 57 or of a regulation made pursuant to subparagraph 4 or 5 of section 56 in the case of animals other than big game, a provision of section 12, 22, 33, 36, 40, 61, 72, 96, 105, 112 or 123 or of subparagraph 1 of section 57, of the first paragraph of section 175, or a provision of the regulations for which no penalty is specifically provided, is guilty of an offence and liable, in addition to costs, to a fine of not less than $100 nor more than $225 and, for any subsequent offence within two years of conviction for the same offence, to a fine of not less than $225 nor more than $425.

171. Every person who contravenes a provision of paragraph 2 of section 57 or of a regulation made pursuant to subparagraph 4 or 5 of section 56 in the case of animals other than big game, a provision of section 12, 22, 33, 36, 40, 61, 72, 96, 105, 112 or 123 or of subparagraph 1 of section 57, of the first paragraph of section 175, or a provision of the regulations for which no penalty is specifically provided, is guilty of an offence and liable, in addition to costs, to a fine of not less than $75 nor more than $200 and, for any subsequent offence within two years of conviction for the same offence, to a fine of not less than $200 nor more than $400.

171. Every person who contravenes a provision of paragraph 2 of section 57 or of a regulation made pursuant to subparagraph 4 or 5 of section 56 in the case of animals other than big game, a provision of section 12, 33, 36, 40, 61, 72, 105, 112 or 123 or of subparagraph 1 of section 57, of the first paragraph of section 175, or a provision of the regulations for which no penalty is specifically provided, is guilty of an offence and liable, in addition to costs, to a fine of not less than $75 nor more than $200 and, for any subsequent offence within two years of conviction for the same offence, to a fine of not less than $200 nor more than $400.
