208. The clerk-treasurer’s books of account and the vouchers for his expenditures together with all the registers or documents forming part of archives of the municipality may be inspected during regular working hours, by any person applying to do so.

The secretary-treasurer’s books of account and the vouchers for his expenditures together with all the registers or documents in his possession as archives of the corporation may be inspected between 9 o’clock in the morning and 4 o’clock in the afternoon on office days, by any person applying to do so.
Such persons, either themselves or by their attorneys, may take all notes, extracts or copies which they require.
