143. The maximum amounts that may be paid by the Société, exclusive of interest and judicial costs, are $50,000 per accident for bodily injury and $10,000 per accident for property damage.

143. Subject to the second paragraph, with respect to victims contemplated in section 142, the Société must satisfy the judgment rendered up to a maximum amount of $50 000 per accident.
In the case of a victim of bodily injury contemplated in subparagraphs 2 and 3 of the first paragraph of section 10, such damage is, up to $45 000, payable by priority over property damage.
The obligation of the Société also extends to interest and judicial costs, which shall not be computed in respect of an amount greater than $50 000.

143. Subject to the second paragraph, with respect to victims contemplated in section 142, the Fonds d’indemnisation must satisfy the judgment rendered up to a maximum amount of fifty thousand dollars per accident.
In the case of a victim of bodily injury contemplated in paragraph b of section 17, such damage is, up to forty-five thousand dollars, payable by priority over property damage.
The obligation of the Fonds d’indemnisation also extends to interest and judicial costs, which shall not be computed in respect of an amount greater than fifty thousand dollars.
