56. All letters patent of the Crown whereby any grant of the waste or other public lands in Québec is made shall be delivered to the person entitled thereto, a copy thereof being previously recorded in a register to be kept for that purpose by the Registrar of Québec or his Deputy, without any other entry or enrolment.
