7. The office of president and chief executive officer is a full-time position.

7. On the recommendation of the board of directors, the Government shall appoint the president and chief executive officer, taking into consideration the expertise and experience profile approved by the board.
The president and chief executive officer is appointed for a term of up to five years. The office of president and chief executive officer is a full-time position.

7. The chief executive officer is responsible for the administration and direction of the Société within the scope of its by-laws and policies.
The chair of the board of directors shall call and preside at the meetings and see to the proper operation of the board. The chair shall exercise any other functions assigned to the chair by the board.
The vice-chair shall exercise the functions of the chair when the latter is absent or unable to act.

7. The members of the board of directors shall remain in office at the end of their terms until they are reappointed or replaced.
