55. (Repealed).

55. Any proceedings taken under this Act must be commenced within one year after the date of the offence.
However, the prescription provided in the preceding paragraph shall not apply to the confiscation of alcoholic beverages seized before judgment, and the judgment of the court confiscating such beverages may be applied for and rendered at any time.

55. Any proceedings taken under this act must be commenced within four months after the date of the offence. The issue of a warrant shall constitute the commencement of proceedings.
However, the prescription provided in the preceding paragraph shall not apply to the confiscation of alcoholic beverages seized before judgment, and the judgment of the court confiscating such beverages may be applied for and rendered at any time.
