31. Benefits are paid to the pensioner until the first day of the month following the pensioner’s death or, in the case of the death of a person who ceased to participate in the plan and was eligible for a pension, from the date the person would have been entitled to receive the pension until the first day of the month following the person’s death.

31. The spouse or, where there is no spouse, the successors of a deceased pensioner are entitled to receive, until the first day of the month following the death of the pensioner, the pension, increased in accordance with section 20, and the pension credit pertaining to the month of death that he would have received or that he would otherwise have received.
