72. The first regulation made under section 91 of the Act respecting income security (chapter S‐3.1.1) as a consequence of a provision of this Act or of a regulation referred to in section 67 is not subject to the publication requirements of section 11 of the Regulations Act (chapter R‐18.1).

The same applies to the first regulation made to amend the By-law respecting the conditions for the leasing of dwellings in low-rental housing under section 86 of the Act respecting the Société d’habitation du Québec (chapter S‐8), in concordance with the first regulation referred to in the first paragraph.

The regulations referred to in this section shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Gazette officielle du Québec or on any later date fixed therein, notwithstanding section 17 of the Regulations Act. They may, however, once published and if they so provide, apply from any date not prior to 1 August 1997.
