247. A judge of the Court of Québec may, on an application served and filed at the clerk’s office within 10 days after service of the notice of appeal, summarily dismiss an appeal he deems improper or dilatory, or subject it to the conditions he determines.
The matter may also be raised, on the initiative of the Court, at the hearing it holds on the appeal.
