233. Every school service centre shall establish rules governing promotion from elementary school to secondary school and from the first cycle to the second cycle of the secondary level, subject to the rules prescribed by the basic school regulation.

233. After consulting with the parents’ committee, every school service centre shall establish rules governing promotion from elementary school to secondary school and from the first cycle to the second cycle of the secondary level, subject to the rules prescribed by the basic school regulation.

233. Every school board shall establish, by by-law, rules governing the placement of students and their promotion from one grade to a higher one or from elementary school to secondary school, subject to the rules prescribed in the basic school regulation.
The rules governing promotion from elementary school to secondary school shall be established following consultation with the regional school board, where applicable.

The rules governing promotion from elementary school to secondary school shall be established following consultation with the regional school board, where applicable.
