88. Where the time prescribed in section 83 or 86 expires within ninety days after the date of a general election, it is extended to one hundred and twenty days after the date of the general election.

88. Where the date of expiry referred to in section 87 falls within ninety days after the date of a general election, it shall be postponed to one hundred and twenty days after the date of the said election.
