87. Where the time prescribed in section 83 or 86 expires during an election period, it is extended to ninety days after the date of the general election.

87. Where the date of expiry of one or other of the delays fixed in sections 85 and 86 falls during an election period, it shall be postponed to ninety days after the date of the general election.
