70. Every institution convicted of an offence under section 69 shall be liable to a fine of $100 to $500 and, in the case of a second or subsequent conviction, to a fine of $200 to $1 000.
In the case of a legal person, the judge may, at his discretion, increase the fines described in the first paragraph up to $2 000 for the first offence and up to $5 000 in the case of a second or subsequent conviction.

70. Every institution found guilty of an offence shall be liable, upon summary proceeding, in addition to payment of the costs, to a fine of not less than $100 nor more than $500, and for each subsequent offence within two years to a fine of not less than $200 nor more than $1 000.
If the offender is a company, the judge or the court, at his or its discretion, may increase the said fines up to $2 000 for the first offence and up to $5 000 for any subsequent offence within two years.
Part II of the Summary Convictions Act shall apply to such proceedings.
