4. The Lieutenant-Governor may appoint, under the Great Seal, from among the members of the Conseil exécutif, the following officials, who shall remain in office during pleasure:

The Minister and the Ministère des Affaires intergouvernementales are respectively designated under the name of Minister and Ministère des Relations internationales (O.C. 517-84 of 84.03.05, (1984) G.O. 2, (French) 1443).
The Minister responsible for Canadian Intergovernmental Affairs exercises the functions, powers and duties of the Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs in the field of Canadian affairs, particularly, concerning the approval and signing of agreements with another Canadian government, federal-provincial and interprovincial relations, and delegations and offices in Canada (O.C. 518-84 of 84.03.05, (1984) G.O. 2, (French) 1444).
