E-1.1 - Act respecting the conservation of energy in buildings

18. The Minister of Labour may, on such conditions as he may determine, authorize the application of energy efficiency standards or of energy conservation measures in a building other than those prescribed by a regulation, if a person shows him that these measures or standards lead to a conservation of energy equal to or greater than what would result from the application of the regulation.

18. The Minister of Employment may, on such conditions as he may determine, authorize the application of energy efficiency standards or of energy conservation measures in a building other than those prescribed by a regulation, if a person shows him that these measures or standards lead to a conservation of energy equal to or greater than what would result from the application of the regulation.

The Minister of Housing and Consumer Protection may, on such conditions as he may determine, authorize the application of energy efficiency standards or of energy conservation measures in a building other than those prescribed by a regulation, if a person shows him that these measures or standards lead to a conservation of energy equal to or greater than what would result from the application of the regulation.
