82.4. The Council or the Government, as the case may be, shall fix the term of office of a member it appoints to a committee.
However, a person who ceases to be a member of the Council shall cease, at the same time, to be a member of the committee.
For the purposes of the second paragraph, a person shall cease to be a member of the Council at the expiry of his term as member of the council of a municipality even if his new term begins immediately thereafter.

82.4. The term of office of a member of a committee is four years.
However, if he ceases to be a member of the Council before the expiry of that term, he ceases at the same time to be a member of the committee.
For the purposes of the second paragraph, a person does not cease to be a member of the Council at the expiry of his term as a member of the council of a municipality if he is reelected at the election held after the expiry of his term, if, within the prescribed time, he makes the oath required of any elected person and if his reelection enables him to again become a member of the Council as the representative of the same municipality.
