26. At the request of the parties or the arbitrator, the witnesses shall be summoned by a written order signed by the clerk. The latter may administer oaths.
Any person duly summoned before an arbitrator who refuses to appear or to testify may be compelled to do so in accordance with the Code of Civil Procedure (chapter C-25.01).
Witnesses are entitled to the same indemnity and allowances as witnesses in Superior Court. The amount is payable by the party who summoned or examined the witness.
