37. Subject to this Act and to any order of the Government made under section 9, the Act respecting elections and referendums in municipalities (chapter E-2.2) applies, with the necessary modifications, in respect of the office and the election of the mayor of the city, the mayor of a borough and every councillor of the city or of a borough.

37.
