132. At the first general election, a member of the council of a municipality referred to in section 5 may be nominated and be elected or appointed as a member of the council of Ville de Longueuil, and hold both offices simultaneously.

At the first general election, a member of the council of a municipality referred to in section 5 may be nominated and be, or be appointed as, a member of the council of Ville de Longueuil, and hold both offices simultaneously. As long as both offices are held by the same person, he or she is not entitled to remuneration as a member of the council of Ville de Longueuil.
