185. An employee transferred to the Agency under section 181 may apply for a transfer to a position in the public service or enter a promotion selection process in accordance with the Public Service Act (chapter F-3.1.1) if the employee obtains the status of temporary employee following the first operation carried out under a letter of agreement between the Chair of the Conseil du trésor and the Syndicat de la fonction publique du Québec or the Syndicat de professionnelles et professionnels du gouvernement du Québec to allow certain casual or seasonal employees to obtain that status, to the extent that the letter of agreement becomes applicable.
However, at the time of the transfer or promotion, the employee must have successfully completed the probationary period required under section 13 of the Public Service Act.
The period served as an employee of the Agency accumulated after obtaining the status of temporary employee in accordance with the first paragraph is taken into account in calculating the length of the probationary period and the period of continuous employment required for the purposes of section 14 of the Public Service Act.
