A-23.001 - Act respecting arrangements for funeral services and sepultures
Section 1
Disposition versions
1. In this Act, unless the context indicates otherwise,
“buyer” means the party to a contract under this Act who undertakes to pay for the property, goods or services stipulated in the contract;
“contract” means a contract governed by this Act;
“representative” means a person acting for a seller or regarding whom a seller has given reasonable cause to believe that he is acting for him;
“seller” means the party to a contract under this Act who undertakes to provide the property, goods or services stipulated in the contract.

“buyer” means the party to a prearranged funeral services contract or prepurchased sepulture contract who undertakes to pay for the property, goods or services stipulated in the contract;
“contract” means a contract governed by this Act;
