34. Where the property seized is perishable or likely to depreciate rapidly, a judge may, on the application of the seizor, authorize the sale of the property.
Prior notice of not less than one clear day of the application must be served on the person from whom the property was seized and on persons claiming a right in the property. However, the judge may exempt the seizor from service if deterioration of the property is imminent.
The sale shall be made on the conditions fixed by the judge. The proceeds of sale shall be deposited with the Bureau général de dépôts pour le Québec.
