24. Anatomical biomedical waste shall be shipped to an operator of a facility that treats biomedical waste by incineration or of a facility that stores biomedical waste, in accordance with the Regulation respecting the regulatory scheme applying to activities on the basis of their environmental impact (chapter Q-2, r. 17.1).
Non-anatomical biomedical waste shall be shipped to an operator of a facility that treats biomedical waste by disinfection or incineration or of a facility that stores biomedical waste, in accordance with the Regulation respecting the regulatory scheme applying to activities on the basis of their environmental impact.
This section does not apply to waste destined for treatment outside Québec.
