The application of pesticides in a road, railway or power corridor for their maintenance must be carried out more than 30 m from a watercourse or body of water, except for an application of(1) pesticides by injection in a tree or shrub, carried out more than 3 m from a watercourse or body of water;
(2) Chondrostereum purpureum on a tree stump, carried out more than 3 m from a watercourse or body of water;
(3) glyphosate on leaves with a knapsack sprayer or ramp-type sprayer, carried out more than 10 m from a watercourse or body of water;
(4) glyphosate or triclopyr on a tree stump, carried out more than 15 m from a watercourse or body of water;
(5) triclopyr on the base of a tree or shrub, carried out more than 15 m from a watercourse or body of water;
(6) pesticide on a railway ballast, carried out with a windbreak, or on wooden hydro or telephone poles; and
(7) a phytocide in a wooded peat bog or a swamp not on a lakeshore, riverbank or littoral zone, located north of the St. Lawrence River, in bioclimatic domains of balsam fir white birch or spruce-moss forests, carried out for the maintenance of a power line corridor.
