TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
REGISTRATION DIVISIONS: FRONTENAC, COMPTON
PARC NATIONAL DU MONT-MÉGANTIC
A territory located in the official cadastre of the townships of Chesham, Ditton, Hampden and Marston, covering an area of 5,485.8 ha comprising the following lots and parts of lots:
Canton de Chesham:
Rang I, lots: 1, 1-1, 2, parts of 3, parts of 4, parts of 5, 6, 7, part of 8, part of 9-a and part of 10-a.
Canton de Ditton:
Lots: part of 704, 704-1 and 704-2;
Rang I, lot 361/2 east;
Rang IV, lots: 1413/4 north and 142.
Canton de Hampden:
Rang I, lots: part of 53, part of 54, part of 55, part of 56, part of 57, 58, 59, 60, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65, 66, 67, 68, 69 and 70;
Rang II, lots: 73, 74, 75, 76, 77, 78, 79, 80, 83, 85, 86, 87, 881/2 north, 891/2 south, 90, 91, 92, 93, 94, 97, 98, part of 99 and 1001/2 south;

Canton de Marston:

The perimetric line is described as follows:
Starting from a point located on the line dividing the townships of Ditton and Chesham at the intersection with the rear line of Rang IV of the canton de Ditton; thence, westerly, the rear line of Rang IV of the canton de Ditton; southerly, the line dividing lots 140 and 141 of Rang IV; westerly, the line dividing the northern three-quarters from the southern quarter of lot 141; southerly, the line dividing lots 141 and 142; westerly, the northern boundary of the right of way of Route 212; northerly, the line dividing lots 142 and 143; westerly, the rear line of Rang IV; northerly, the rear line of lots 124 to 129 of Rang III, of a part of lot 43 and of lots 44 to 48 of Rang II; easterly, southerly, northwesterly, northeasterly, southeasterly and southwesterly, the boundary fo the “Ferme Paquette Enr.” maple grove as shown on a plan prepared by Jacques Blanchard, l.s., dated 3 January 1994, under number 5036 of his minutes; southerly, the rear line of lot 36 of Rang I; westerly, the line dividing lots 36 and 37; northerly, the line dividing the eastern half from the western half of lot 36; westerly, the line dividing the townships of Ditton and Hampden; northerly, the line dividing lots 52 and 53 of Rang I of the canton de Hampden; westerly, the line dividing Rangs I and II; northerly, the line dividing lots 100 and 101 of Rang II; easterly, the line dividing the northern half from the southern half of lot 100; northerly, the line dividing lots 99 and 100; northeasterly, the southeastern boundary of the right-of-way of the road, on lot 99; easterly, the southern boundary of the right-of-way of chemin Franceville; southerly, the line dividing lots 95 and 96 from lot 97; easterly, the line dividing Rangs I and II; northerly, the line dividing lots 93 and 95 and lots 94 and 96; easterly, the southern boundary of the right-of-way of chemin Franceville; southerly, the line dividing lots 89 and 90; easterly, the line dividing the northern half from the southern half of lot 89; northerly, the line dividing lots 88 and 89; easterly and northeasterly, the southern boundary of the right-of-way of chemin Franceville; southerly, the line dividing lots 186 and 187 of Rang III; easterly, the line dividing Rangs II and III; northerly, the line dividing lots 188 and 189; easterly, the southern boundary of the right-of-way of chemin Franceville; southerly, the line dividing lots 193 and 195 of Rang III, the line dividing lots 72 and 74 and lots 71 and 73 of Rang II; easterly, the line dividing Rangs I and II; southerly, the line dividing the townships of Hampden and Marston; northeasterly, easterly and southeasterly, the normal high-water mark on the left bank of ruisseau de la Montagne; easterly, the line dividing lots 549 and 550 of Rang XIII of the canton de Marston; southerly, the line dividing Rangs XII and XIII; southeasterly, the normal high-water mark on the left bank of ruisseau de la Montagne; easterly, the line dividing lots 545 and 546 of Rang XII; southerly, the line dividing Rangs XI and XII; easterly, the line dividing the townships of Marston and Chesham; southerly, the line dividing lots 10a and 11 of Rang I of the canton de Chesham, over a distance of 600.38 m and an azimuth of 178º40′30″, on a plan prepared by Michel Guay, l.s., dated 7 September 1983; westerly, a distance of 523.18 m and an azimuth of 270º01′30″, southerly, the line dividing lots 8 and 9a; westerly, the extension of the northern boundary of the right-of-way of chemin de la Montagne over a length of 15.00 m; southerly, a line parallel to and 15.00 m away from the line dividing lots 8 and 9b to the intersection with the line drawn by Claude Grondine, l.s. and shown on a plan dated 16 January 1979; westerly, a straight line over a distance of 249.03 m and an azimuth of 269º21′45″; southerly, the line dividing lots 7 and 8; westerly, the line dividing Rangs I and II; southerly, the line dividing the townships of Ditton and Chesham to the starting point.
The eastern half of lot 461 of Rang X of the canton de Marston is included in the aforesaid territory.
The following lots are excluded from the territory described above:
Canton de Hampden:
Rang I, lots: part of 53, part of 54, part of 55, part of 56 and part of 57, the “Les Entreprises Prevost Enr.” maple grove, shown on the plan prepared by Jacques Blanchard, l.s., dated 3 January 1994, under number 5,036 of his minutes;
Rang II, lots 81, 82, 84 and part of 88.
Canton de Chesham:
Rang I, lots: part of 3, part of 4 and part of 5 belonging to the Corporation épiscopale catholique romaine de Sherbrooke.
The whole as shown on a map to a scale of 1:20,000 prepared by Jacques Pelchat, l.s., dated 31 January 1994, a reduced copy of which is attached hereto for information purposes.
The original of those documents is kept at the Division des données foncières et de la cartographie of the Ministère de l’Environnement et de la Faune, under number 970 of the minutes of the undersigned land surveyor.
