49. (Repealed).

49. On payment of $0.10 for every 100 words, the corporation of every newly organized municipality, and the corporation of every municipality which comprises or governs the territory detached or separated from another municipality, is entitled to obtain from the corporation which possesses the originals, certified copies of all by-laws, resolutions, orders, procès-verbaux, rolls, papers, books, plans or other documents relating to the new municipality or to such territory.
Nevertheless, the corporation applying for such copies may have them made by one of its officers on payment of $0.50 for each certificate made or thereunto affixed by the secretary-treasurer or other officer in charge of such documents.
