137.1. Notwithstanding any inconsistent provision of an Act, regulation or order, the Commission may pay monthly benefits under any pension plan in respect of which it is responsible for the payment of pension benefits and according to the conditions determined by government regulation. The regulation may prescribe the date on which the benefit becomes payable and that on which the beneficiary becomes ineligible for that benefit.
The Government shall make the regulation provided for in the first paragraph after consultation of the Commission with the pension committee. The regulation comes into force ten days after its publication in the Gazette officielle du Québec or on any later date fixed therein.
