36. Whosoever, by means of benefits having a pecuniary value, grants or accepts any rebate reducing the wage made obligatory, or participates in such a rebate, commits an offence and shall be liable to a fine of $50 to $200 and, in the case of a second or subsequent conviction, to a fine of $200 to $500.

Whosoever, by means of benefits having a pecuniary value, grants or accepts any rebate reducing the wage made obligatory, or participates in such a rebate, commits an offence and shall be liable, in addition to the costs, to a fine of $50 to $200; in the case of a subsequent offence within two years he shall be liable, in addition to the costs, to a fine of $200 to $500.
