48. (Repealed).

48. The Société is a corporation within the meaning of the Civil Code and has all the powers of such a corporation in addition to those conferred on it by this Act. It shall not, however, invest any sum held for the account of third persons except deposits in a bank, trust company or savings and credit union, nor make any investment through the purchase of capital shares of an undertaking.
