44. Such notice shall be posted by any functionary designated by the Minister of Energy and Resources, on the door of the church or chapel or other public building nearest to the lots in question, and shall be sent by post-card to the purchaser, grantee, locatee or lessee of any public land or his assigns, mentioned in section 40.
The notice shall state that the cancellation shall take place, if necessary, at any time after thirty days from the date of the posting.
During such thirty days the owner or occupant of the lot may set forth his reasons against such cancellation.
