159. Administrative justices of the peace shall exercise their functions during pleasure.

159. The oaths of allegiance and of office must be taken by a justice of the peace within six months after his appointment, failing which his appointment is considered to be cancelled.

159. When not otherwise provided by any special act, no advocate shall be a justice of the peace in and for any district of Québec while he continues to practise his profession.
