27.4. An employee referred to in section 27.2 who applies for a transfer or a promotion selection process may require from the Chair of the Conseil du trésor an assessment of the classification the employee would be assigned in the public service. The assessment must take into account the person’s classification on the last day of employment in the public service and the experience and training acquired in the course of employment with the company.
If an employee is transferred under the first paragraph, the deputy minister or the chief executive officer shall determine the employee’s classification in accordance with the assessment provided for in the first paragraph.
If an employee is promoted under section 27.2, the classification assigned to the employee must take into account the criteria set out in the first paragraph.
