42. The Régie may make such inquiries as are necessary for the exercise of its functions and, for that purpose, the commissioners and any person specially authorized by the Régie have the powers and immunity of commissioners appointed under the Act respecting public inquiry commissions (chapter C-37), except the power to order imprisonment.
