278. A person convicted of an offence constituting a prohibited practice or an offence under any of paragraphs b to g of section 277 is liable
(a)  in the case of a natural person, to a fine of $600 to $15,000;
(b)  in the case of a legal person, to a fine of $2,000 to $100,000.
For a second or subsequent conviction, the offender is liable to a fine with minimum and maximum limits twice as high as those prescribed in subparagraph a or b, as the case may be.

(b)  in the case of a corporation, to a fine of $2 000 to $100 000.
For a second or subsequent conviction, the offender is liable to a fine with minimum and maximum limits twice as high as those prescribed in subparagraph a or b, as the case may be.

278. Every person other than a corporation who is guilty of an offence constituting a prohibited practice or who infringes paragraph b, c, d, e or f of section 277 is liable
(a)  for the first offence, to a fine of $200 to $5 000;
(b)  for a second or subsequent conviction, to a fine of $400 to $10 000.
A corporation guilty of an offence contemplated in the preceding paragraph is liable to a minimum fine five times greater and to a maximum fine ten times greater than those provided for in the preceding paragraph.

278. Every person other than a corporation who is guilty of an offence constituting a prohibited practice or who infringes paragraph b, c, d, e or f of section 277 is liable
(a)  for the first offence, to a fine of $200 to $5 000;
(b)  for a subsequent offence to the same provision of this act or a regulation committed within a period of two years, to a fine of $400 to $10 000, to imprisonment for not more than six months, or to both a fine and imprisonment.
A corporation guilty of an offence contemplated in the preceding paragraph is liable to a minimum fine five times greater and to a maximum fine ten times greater than those provided for in the preceding paragraph.
