P-32 - Public Protector Act

17. The members of a public body are accountable to its chief executive officer for the purposes of this Act.

17. The Public Protector must refuse to make or continue an investigation when he finds that he has no jurisdiction under this act, when the person applying for an investigation has under any law a right of appeal or an equally adequate recourse or when more than one year has elapsed since the person applying for it had knowledge of the act or omission in question, unless such person shows that it was, in fact, impossible for him to act sooner.
