P-30.01 - Petroleum Products Act

88. To ascertain compliance with this Act and the regulations, an inspector may,
(1)  have access, at any reasonable time, to any place where petroleum products are located or where an activity governed by this Act and the regulations thereunder is carried on and inspect such place;
(1.1)  take photographs of the premises and of the petroleum products found on the premises;
(2)  take samples of any petroleum product with a view to having them analyzed;
(3)  examine and make copies of the registers, records and other documents relating to the activities and the petroleum products governed by this Act and the regulations thereunder;
(4)  require any information or document relating to the enforcement of this Act and the regulations thereunder;
(5)  require any person present on the premises to provide any reasonable assistance.

88. An inspector may, in order to ascertain whether this Act and the regulations thereunder, the private inspection programs and the conditions of the authorizations given under section 64 are being complied with,
(1)  have access, at any reasonable time, to any place petroleum products or equipment are located or where an activity governed by this Act and the regulations thereunder is carried on and inspect such place;
(1.1)  take photographs of the premises and of the petroleum products and equipment found there;
(2)  take samples of any petroleum product with a view to having them analyzed and test any petroleum equipment;
(3)  examine and make copies of the registers, records and other documents relating to the activities and the petroleum products and equipment governed by this Act and the regulations thereunder;
(4)  require any information or document relating to the enforcement of this Act and the regulations thereunder;
(5)  require any person present on the premises to provide any reasonable assistance.

56. An inspector may, in the performance of his duties,
(1)  have access, at any reasonable time, to any place where an activity governed by this Act and the regulations thereunder is carried on and inspect such place;
(2)  take samples of any petroleum product with a view to having them analyzed and examine any petroleum equipment;
(3)  examine and make copies of the registers, records and other documents relating to the activities governed by this Act and the regulations thereunder;
(4)  require any information or document relating to the enforcement of this Act and the regulations thereunder.
