193. The Minister of Municipal Affairs, Regions and Land Occupancy shall transmit to the municipality a written notice containing a proposal to validate the acts performed by it and, as the case may be, to terminate the administration of the affairs of a territory not subject to its jurisdiction. The notice shall also contain a statement to the effect that the municipality may inform the Minister in writing of its opinion on the proposal.
He shall also transmit the notice to the local municipality and to the regional county municipality whose territory is affected by the proposed validation.
Where the Minister intends to recommend to the Government to validate acts at the time of a rectification of territorial boundaries, the statements provided for in the first paragraph must be contained in the notice provided for in section 179 and, as the case may be, section 181.
