M-3 - Master Electricians Act

11. The Corporation or a person it designates may inquire into any question relating to this Act. For that purpose, the Corporation or the person shall be vested with the powers and immunity of commissioners appointed under the Act respecting public inquiry commissions (chapter C-37), except the power to order imprisonment.

11. Subject to the Act respecting electrical installations (chapter I-13.01), every member of the corporation shall have the rights and powers necessary to carry on the business of master electricians and contracting electricians in Québec, as described in the said act, the Public Buildings Safety Act (chapter S-3), the Act respecting occupational health and safety (chapter S-2.1), and the regulations made thereunder, and the Electrical Code approved by the Bureau des examinateurs du Québec under section 29 of chapter I-13.01.

Subject to the Electricians and Electrical Installations Act (chapter E-4), every member of the corporation shall have the rights and powers necessary to carry on the business of master electricians and contracting electricians in Québec, as described in the said act, the Public Buildings Safety Act (chapter S-3), the Industrial and Commercial Establishments Act (chapter E-15), and the regulations made thereunder, and the Electrical Code approved by the Bureau des examinateurs du Québec under section 29 of chapter E-4.
