L-1.1 - Act to promote the parole of inmates

48. The Minister of Public Security may, in accordance with the Act respecting the Ministère du Conseil exécutif (chapter M-30), enter into agreement with another government of Canada for the transfer to a house of detention of a person confined in a prison as defined by the Prisons and Reformatories Act (Revised Statutes of Canada, 1985, chapter P-20) or in a penitentiary as defined in the Penitentiary Act (Revised Statutes of Canada, 1985, chapter P-5).

48. The Solicitor General may, in accordance with the Act respecting the Ministère du Conseil exécutif (chapter M-30), enter into agreement with another government of Canada for the transfer to a house of detention of a person confined in a prison as defined by the Prisons and Reformatories Act (Revised Statutes of Canada 1985, chapter P-20) or in a penitentiary as defined in the Penitentiary Act (Revised Statutes of Canada 1985, chapter P-5).
