435. The Comité shall, each year, fix the rate of the school tax.
In addition, the Comité shall provide the school boards, before the adoption of the resolution referred to in the first paragraph of section 434.5, with a projection of the property tax rate that could result if the school boards require the maximum proceeds of school tax established for each school board by effecting the calculations as provided in the second and third paragraphs of section 308.

435. The Council shall, each year, fix the rate of the school tax.

435. The Council shall fix the rate of the school tax after the budget of the school boards on the island of Montréal has been approved.
The Council may, notwithstanding the first paragraph, fix the rate of the school tax if a school board on the island of Montréal is authorized to make an expenditure before its budget has been approved.

435. The rate of the school tax levied by the Council shall be the same for all taxable immovables.
The school tax shall be paid by the owner of the taxable immovable.
The Council shall inform the clerk of every municipality whose territory falls wholly or partly within the territory of a school board on the island of Montréal of the tax rate within ten days of its adoption.
