197. Any employee of the department designated by the Minister may make a search in accordance with the Code of Penal Procedure (chapter C-25.1), in order to seize any timber to which this Act applies.
The employee may, in addition, seize any timber mixed with the timber that is the subject of the search, where it is impossible or very difficult to distinguish one from the other.

197. Any employee of the department designated by the Minister may make a search in accordance with the Summary Convictions Act (chapter P-15), in order to seize any timber to which this Act applies.
The employee may, in addition, seize any timber mixed with the timber that is the subject of the search, where it is impossible or very difficult to distinguish one from the other.

197. The employee may apply to the judge who issued the search warrant or to whom a report of a search without a warrant is made under section 192 for authorization to sell the seized timber if it is perishable and may lawfully be sold.
