472. If the hearing establishes that a candidate, personally or through another person, committed an offence contemplated in section 497 or 498, the court shall subtract, from the number of votes which appear to have been given in favour of that candidate, one vote for each person who voted at that election and in respect of whom, according to the evidence, that candidate is guilty of that offence.
